This application logs all 404 errors your community experiences, which helps you to identify pages, which could still be valuable. In this case it's worth to create a redirect to a new valid page instead of showing a "404 - Page Not Found" Error. First, your visitors will appreciate this and it's also much better for search engines to return a new target rather than a 404 error page   This application works hand in hand with our Custom Redirects application, allowing you to create a redirect direct from the 404 logs page in the ACP.

Instead, they’ll get a simple error message that says “Page Not Found,” and they can go back and start over.  While it's better to usually fix the broken link, it's important to always have a 404 page in place as a backup.
